Cabinet makers, be it the enthusiast in their wooden outhouse, or the expert in her large industrial unit, require a stable, excellent standard, timber supply. This is due to the fact that if you are taking months on a project, you need to be sure that it will not warp out of shape or split as its drying.
Realistically you are sure of some settling in the timber but in a project like a chair you wouldn’t want the settling in the timber leaving you with a wobbly job.
The timber supplier can normally recommend to you which timber will be of most benefit to the project, whether its oven dryed, or well seasoned.
Lighting indoor & out
To make sure that you get the most from your illumination be it lights for inside or external lighting you must look into the type of luminescent effect you require.
An outside light could be a bright tungsten light that brightens if it senses movement or a low voltage light that allows the option of either being switched on and off or switches itself on from nightfall till sunrise and provides good visibility with less local disruption.
Within a building the selection of flourescents, spot and standard bulb are huge, it is worth consulting your local electrical contractor to make sure that your present wiring can deal with more intense loading.
